Entering the pilothouse from the cockpit you’ll first notice the excellent condition of the mahogany interior woodwork and the great attention to detail with superb joinery throughout. Layout-wise you’ll find in the pilothouse an open and airy feeling, thanks to the 360 degree windows allowing the natural light in and an exceptional view out. The comfortable L-shaped dinette settee to port with a mahogany fiddle railed table, with the ‘up’ style galley located to starboard which features a 2 burner propane cook top, a double basin SS sink with a pressurized hot/cold water system and a hand pump back-up, a roomy 110V freezer/icebox unit, and plentiful storage space in both cabinets and drawers. Forward to port is the pilothouse steering and navigation station complete with full instrumentation. Down and aft of the pilothouse through a gorgeously hand-carved cabin door is the captain’s master stateroom with a roomy queen berth, a generous 6 opening portholes combined with the opening deck hatch provide more than the usual ventilation. The master quarters also include a hanging locker as well as drawer storage, not to mention a desirable ensuite head with a sink, a shower, and an electric flush head. The open and spacious main saloon is located down and forward of the pilothouse and features a settee/single berth with storage beneath and mahogany cabinetry above, and to starboard is a larger settee which also does double duty as a comfortable berth for two more guests. There is a large dual opening skylight and 4 portholes to provide superb ventilation for the saloon, as well as a TV for entertainment. There is additional storage space and convenient additional drawers are also included in the saloon area. The main ship’s head is forward and accessed directly from the saloon as well as secondary private access directly from the 2nd guest stateroom, and is fitted with a marine head, sink w/ vanity, and a large and separate stall shower. The forepeak guest stateroom features over and under berths with cabinet storage, two opening portholes, an overhead hatch, and a built-in desk. The second guest stateroom is slightly aft of the first and features a ‘Pullman’ style double berth, large drawers, and additional storage below the berth and, a private access door to the head, as well as additional storage cabinets above the berth. The curved stairwell leading from the saloon to the pilothouse deck level adds charm and character to this classic yacht.

EXTERIOR SPECIFICATIONS The old high maintenance teak decks are being removed and fiberglassed over, then non-skidded for a virtually maintenance free future. On deck there are four opening dorade boxes for great ventilation below decks. Grounding gear consists of a recently overhauled McMurray anchor windlass for hauling the Bruce anchor with 150' of 3/8” chain. There is also a second set of ground tackle… a Danforth anchor with 60' of chain and 300' of rode. All new SS mainmast rigging was replaced in ‘04. The mainmast has a boom gallows for the main boom over pilothouse and 2 halyard winches. The mizzen mast is aluminum and stepped to the deck while the mainmast is wooden and stepped to the keel. Other winches include one Barlow 24 sheet winch for the traveler and two Barlow 28 main sheet winches. Total number of winches: 7. Sail inventory/accessories include the following: 1 main, 1 mizzen, 2 genoas, a new staysail (‘04) club-footed on inner stay with boom gallows, a Profurl roller furling, blue Sunbrella sail covers, All sheets lead directly to the aft cockpit for ease of control. Fenders and lines are included. Also included in the sale is a West Marine 10’ Dinghy and a fold-up 10’ Zodiak inflatable as well, and a 2005 15HP Yamaha outboard. |

MECHANICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Powered by the incredibly reliable 80HP Ford Lehman diesel, she also features full instrumentation at the cockpit station as well as the pilothouse helm. Utilizing two alternators for added amperage as well as redundancy in case of a failure, there is one 150 amp main and the additional 75 amp unit, both having been recently rebuilt. There are a total of nine batteries; a separate engine starting battery as well as two house banks consisting of four batteries each for extended power needs. To keep the batteries healthy there is a Pro-Sport 20 amp charger/power converter.
