The Tiara 3100 Open is arguably one of the most popular express boats ever in the industry. The vessel is constructed on a solid fiberglass deep-V hull and has a bi-level cockpit layout. The Tiara 3100 Open is the ideal boat for offshore fishing, diving, or taking a weekend cruise. With its in-deck cockpit fishbox, a flow-thru live baitwell, and a transom door with gate, a transom platform with dive ladder, as well as its spacious interior with a full galley, head, dinette and accommodations for four adults, it is easy to see how the Tiara 3100 Open does triple duty and makes a perfect boat for the serious offshore fisherman, scuba diving or snorkeling enthusiasts, or as the weekend family cruiser.

INTERIOR SPECIFICATIONS

The color combinations of the Tiara’s interior is very pleasing to the eye with rich teak wood accents, white galley cabinets and drawers with a teak trim and beige faux leather
convertible dinette cushion coverings. As you enter the cabin from the cockpit, on the starboard side is the U-shaped dinette which converts into a double berth. Above the dinette and aft is the electrical panel, Sony AM/FM stereo with a 10 disc CD changer and a new Toshiba 13” color with built-in DVD player. The Sony stereo is complimented with an ADS amplifier. There are marine speakers located throughout the cabin and cockpit for your listening pleasure. Forward of the dinette is the master stateroom with a queen berth and a cushioned seat with vanity, doubling as a step to the berth. The master stateroom has matching mauve, green and white bed covering, privacy curtains and valances. Separating the stateroom and the galley on the port side is a hanging locker and storage cabinet, of which the door cleverly does double duty as a hard door for creating a fully private stateroom. Opposite to port from the dinette is the galley which is well equipped with a stainless steel sink, dual voltage 12v/120v Norcold refrigerator/freezer, an electric Princess dual burner stove, and a Princess microwave oven, and an abundance of storage which is always welcome on any vessel. There is a 16,000 BTU air conditioner which is greatly appreciated on those hot summer days. Aft of the galley is the enclosed head compartment which contains a marine head and a shower with hot and cold pressure water. The head is a SeaLand VacuFlush marine toilet which eliminates that sea water smell, as it uses fresh water, and which is also equipped with a macerator and a Y-Valve to dump directly overboard where legal.

EXTERIOR SPECIFICATIONS

The Tiara has a bi-level cockpit layout with built-in quality everywhere you look. On the starboard side of the cockpit there is a U-Line ice maker located under a bait prep area and a sink center. The bait prep area and sink are covered and lifts up for use. There is a built-in flow-thru live baitwell in the cockpit floor near the transom door. To the port side of the cockpit there is a built-in fish box which is large enough to hold more than a day’s catch. Behind the fishbox there is a fold away bench seat large enough for two to three guests. The transom door and gate are located on the starboard side of the cockpit and make boarding or landing a big fish a much easier proposition. As you open the transom door you will discover a fresh water shower which is perfect to rinse off after a swim or a diving adventure. There is a fiberglass swim platform and a built-in dive ladder. This helm area deck lifts with a push of a button located on the starboard gunwale to provide excellent access to the engines and generator. The helm area features an L-shaped seating settee on the port side with storage underneath, and a handy insulated built-in cooler. The cooler can accommodate enough beverages for the weekend, or be used with ice to hold bait. On the starboard side of this deck is the helm seat which is designed for two adults. The helm seat folds forward to reveal even more needed storage. The helm on the Tiara 3100 is impressively laid-out more like a larger yacht. With its full compliment of gauges, switches and electronics, operating the vessel becomes a breeze. This Tiara has a Bimini top which covers the entire seating area, from the radar arch to the front windshield (of which the center opens electrically to let in air when wanted). The bow pulpit has an ACR remote controlled spotlight to assist in your nighttime navigation. There is a Maxwell remote controlled anchor windlass to make your anchoring chores easy, and stainless steel bow rails that surround the deck for added safety while moving about or anchoring.

ELECTRONICS SPECIFICATIONS

The electronics on the Tiara have been updated beyond the norm for a vessel of this size, featuring Furuno 24 mile radar with an open array antenna, mounted, of course, on the radar arch. It is equipped with a Raytheon ST5000+ autopilot, a Simrad CE32 combination GPS/chart plotter/fishfinder with cartography. For communication there is a Standard Horizon Omni VHF radio. There is a SeaWatch 2020 TV antenna to bring in those favorite programs while on a weekend cruise.

MECHANICAL SPECIFICATIONS

She is powered by twin FWC Crusaders 7.4L XL 350HP V-8’s with only 678 original hours. The shore power system is two 30 amp shore power cords. There is a 50 amp Pro Mariner battery charger/converter, an electric 6 gallon hot water heater, and dual batteries with switches. There is a Westerbeke 7 KW generator with only 529 original hours to provide 110V power while underway or while anchored up and spending the weekend at your favorite Florida key or Bahamian cay. The Bennett trim tabs give additional control of the boat while underway by controlling bow rise and side to side balance.
Special Note: The fuel tanks were replaced by the owner with custom _” thick aluminum tanks versus the lighter gauge units supplied by the factory under the Tiara tank recall.
